AFRICAN UNION OFFICIAL DUTIES COMMENCE (17 November, 2021)
Together with my three champions of African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM Champions), our official duties for the AU have commenced .
By 2023, all member States of the AU should have acceded to the APRM. Right now, just some 40 have done so. Still work to do, as well as work promoting, giving visibility to — in both explicit and otherwise ways — all activities of the APRM.
We are motivated. We are daunted. We are excited that together as a team, we have immense capacity to make impact and set the standard of how a group of committed professionals decided they would accept the nomination of APRM Champions and truly champion the cause and work of the APRM like it has never been done before! From country missions to targeted reviews, this will be our new lingo in addition to our day jobs.
